Mission: To provide career planning and job seeking assistance and to guide the students of BIT at Cross Roads.
The Institute has a full-fledged Training & Placement Cell headed by a full time Training & Placement Officer and backed by a Professor In-charge. The Cell is assisted by Student Coordinators who lead a team of Training & Placement representatives from various courses of study. The Training & Placement Cell ensures and takes care to provide the best arrangements and hospitality for the visiting companies' officials. BIT has emerged as a hub in the state for organizing campus interviews of leading companies of the country. TCS has accredited BIT with C* for placement activities.
The thrust of the Training and Placement department is towards providing the students a platform for interaction with the corporate world and also to help improve the all-round personality of the students. These aims are achieved through lectures, workshops, seminars, information about career opportunities, aptitude tests, communication enhancement lectures, group discussions, interviews, pre-placement talks, debates, preparing professional curriculum vitae etc.
